On a solo trip to Lanzarote I wanted to find a photographer for very specific and special shots for my new branding and website. I’m a spiritual teacher and movement guru so working with people to achieve a heart felt openess was very important to me in looking for a photographer. Photography is an intimate experience and needs a depth of safety and presence from both sides of the camera.
I interviewed a few different people and when I found and met Duska from Isla Fotografia I knew instantly she was perfect to shoot with. Before even seeing her photos her energy resonated with me and we agreed to create together.
Before during and after all the shoots she was clever and magical with ideas. Her professionalism and responsibility was top in the way she brought the ideas to light and showed up for me with provisions.
She worked quietly and with joyful patience. She listened to all my needs and gave me jaw-dropping gorgeous shots!
Her ideas to shoot in nature and underwater made the process fun and we ended up finding so many pictures to keep.
I loved everything she saw through her lens and how she edits and crafts her work into art is remarkable.
I wish I could take Duska with me in my pocket as I travel!
